Why You Should Visit Sedona Arizona

Saaty Photography: Why You Should Visit Sedona Arizona. It is no mystery why Sedona, Arizona is a popular spot for Arizonans and people all over the world to visit. Sedona, a city in Northern Arizona just 120 miles north of Phoenix, has so much to offer from beautiful views to outdoor adventures to incredible shops and restaurants. As someone who frequently travels to Sedona for photoshoots and leisure, I will give you four reasons why you put Sedona on your list of places to visit!

#1: Red Rocks

No matter which road you take into the city, you are greeted by breathtaking views of the red rock formations. The red rocks are a staple in Sedona, and around them, you can find creeks and waterfalls. Bell Rock, Cathedral Rock, and Devils Bridge are just a few of the rock formations that I recommend seeing. Another fun rock formation to keep an eye out for is Snoopy rock which can be seen from a variety of spots in Sedona. Exploring Sedona will make you feel like you are on another planet!

#2 Hiking

The number of hiking trails in Sedona is endless. Whether you are a hiking beginner, intermediate hiker, or advanced hiker, there is a trail for you. Just make sure to do your research before heading out and exploring the trails in Sedona. I recommend using the app AllTrails to get details about different trails, such as how long they are, their difficulty level, and directions on where to go. Another perk of Sedona is that you can visit at any time of the year! The weather does not generally get too cold in the winter months and gets to be around 90 degrees Fahrenheit in the summer months. So, if you love being outside and hiking then Sedona is the perfect place for you!

#3 Shops

After spending a day exploring the great outdoors of Sedona, you can come to the Tlaquepaque Arts and Shopping Village to pick up some souvenirs. There are 50 different art galleries and shops in this area, so you will have a wide variety of incredible local businesses to stop and visit. Some of these galleries display pottery, paintings, photography, jewelry, weavings, and more! You can easily spend your afternoon here and stop and grab a bite to eat at one of the restaurants.

Words can not express how thankful and happy we are that we chose Monica to capture our perfect day. She made us feel both comfortable and confident in the whole process. She has this ease that makes you feel you’ve known her for years. Her kindness, personality, and professionalism was beyond what we could have hoped for. Her communication and organization was so impressive as well (I am far from organized)! Our photos are AMAZING, they are perfect. We wish we could do it all over again, and again. Seriously, book her right now! Best choice we could have made, and she helped make our day so wonderfully memorable and way less stressful.
