The best time to be here is in the afternoons, where you will benefit from the shade and set yourself up for a beautiful backdrop for your wedding. There is a $5 per car fee to park there. Access to the trail is free.

Another very popular place to get married outdoors is Red Rock Crossing. This picturesque venue is located where Oak Creek runs next to Cathedral Rock. You can have your ceremony near the water, especially during the summer, when the Oak Creek runs to the base of Cathedral Rock. The backdrop is spectacular. Lovers Knoll got its name because of the romantic views of the Sedona landscape, including Cathedral Rock and Courthouse Butte. This incredibly scenic location is a actually a pullout along Red Rock Loop and you may not even find it on a map. It is a very popular spot for small elopements and the views are spectacular at sunset. There is no fee to have your ceremony here.
Located in the heart of Sedona, Tlaquepaque is another popular location to get married and it is not hard to see why. Indian for “the best of everything”, this venue really does have the best of everything. As soon as you walk into the rustic Tlaquepaque Chapel, you will feel like you are in a small Mexican village. Cobblestone walkways, arched entryways and stucco walls make this venue almost magical. With the backdrop of the Sedona cliffs, this is an incredibly romantic spot. Courthouse Vista is the trailhead for Bell Rock, Courthouse Butte Loop and Bell Rock Pathway. This location offers spectacular views of Castle Rock, Courthouse Butte, Bell Rock, Lee and Munds mountains and the Red Rock Cliffs and Canyons along the Mogollon Rim. Bell Rock Pathway is the most popular trail, with its wide path and incredible views . The views are equally as majestic on the less congested Courthouse Butte Loop, and also provides a beautiful backdrop for your ceremony, Weekdays are best for this location to avoid the crowds. You will need a pass, but you can get one there when you arrive.
