The 3 Best Flagstaff Portrait Session Spots
Best Flagstaff Portrait Session: Top 3. Filled with forests of ponderosa pines and aspens, open fields with flowers (seasonal), and jaw-dropping mountain views, Flagstaff is such a beautiful gem in Arizona! I cannot elaborate enough on the number of stunning locations here. Trust me, they are perfect for any type of photo session! It can sometimes be a bit overwhelming thinking about where you want your photos to be taken. But, rest assured! Here are my top 3 locations in Flagstaff.
#1: Arizona Snowbowl
Arizona Snowbowl is extremely popular among winter sports lovers. After all, it is THE place to go skiing and snowboarding in Arizona during the winter months. But, did you know that this location is just as beautiful during the summer and fall months? In the summer, Snowbowl is filled with luscious greenery, warm skies, and, as always, amazing sunsets! As for fall, you will have the golden-colored aspen leaves in the background! Having your session here for either season is sure to create print-worthy photos!
#2 Downtown Flagstaff
Dawned with colorful murals, iconic sandstone brick buildings, neon lights from the local shops, and right off the infamous Route 66, Downtown Flagstaff is an amazing background for portrait photography. If you are looking more for an architectural look, then this location is great for you! The architecture here is one of many great reasons to get your images shot here. It is also why I love shooting here so much! There are so many unique buildings here, and the murals make for a perfect pop of color in your images.
#3 Buffalo Park
If you love those San Francisco peaks views, then you might want your session done at Buffalo Park! I love Buffalo park because it is so easy to access. The trails here are not rigorous, which makes it easier for you to walk around to different spots within the park. You can have a variety of portraits taken in the open fields, with the ponderosa pine trees, and with the peaks in the background! Depending on where you are, you might be able to get all three! It is always a blast doing sessions here.
