Sedona Arizona : About The Location
Placed beside a tree-lined creek, and the picnic area’s location offers a serene place to enjoy nature. Because it has Sedona’s famous red rock cliffs setting the backdrop, it’s amazing to see. Crescent Moon lies in a high desert region situated at the base of the Mogollon Rim. The unique landscape creates erosion that has shaped spectacular canyons. It also has buttes that make the region an appealing attraction.
One of the most photographed scenes in the southwest is towering Cathedral Rock reflected in the waters of Oak Creek at Red Rock Crossing. And it’s so obvious why! The picnic area located at that same site is as popular as it is beautiful. People come here to fish, swim, and wade in the creek. They also come to picnic and photograph the scenery.
