Flagstaff Garden Wedding: Seda and Chad’s Summer Celebration. Seda told me… “We met online back in April 2019 and started dating. There have been a few summers when we thought we’d never see each other. Especially summer of 2020 was painful. After I graduated from the MA program, I applied for many jobs in the US but got rejected. I had to go back to Turkey without knowing if I’d ever come back.
Once we were coming back from Sedona and listening to Lady Gaga – Always remember us this way, and I burst into tears because I didn’t know if I’d ever go down to Sedona or any other trips with Chad. Then later in the summer, I got accepted to the PhD program and was able to secure an assistantship to fund my PhD, and I was able to come back to the US! Chad proposed in April 2021, and we went to Turkey in the summer of 2021. Now, we are getting married and having Lady Gaga – Always remember us this way as our first dance song because it means a lot to us!”
