Which Season Should You Pick When Planning Your Arizona Wedding

The Seasons: Planning Your Arizona Wedding

Which Season Should You Pick When Planning Your Arizona Wedding? I get this question all the time! Weddings are beautiful year-round. There is something special about every season that makes for an absolutely beautiful time to get married. Choosing when to have your wedding is entirely up to you, but there are definitely some things to consider!

The reason for the season

The backdrop of your wedding is your venue. When choosing a season, think about what that season has to offer. If you love colorful fall leaves, think about planning your wedding in a place that can provide all the cozy autumn feels! Snowy weddings are gorgeous and unique, but they bring some challenges with them, and having an indoor venue is incredibly important. Even summer and spring weddings have their own considerations, because venues, caterers, photographers, and other vendors can be booked out way in advance. Think about all of these factors first when choosing when to say I do!

Weather in your area

Weather plays a huge impact on your wedding, and it is an important factor to consider. Thinking about what time of day you want to be getting married and whether you want your venue inside or outside is a great place to start. Depending on where you are located, seasons vary with what kind of weather they bring at what time of day. If you are getting married in Phoenix or Tucson, a mid afternoon summer wedding might not be the best bet, but in somewhere like Flagstaff, that might be lovely! Consider if you’re in a place that gets windy in the spring, or monsoons in the summer. Is there a chance it might snow in early fall? These are all factors to consider when picking a wedding date!

Planning Your Arizona Wedding: Will guests be able to make it?

There’s a chance that people will need to travel for your wedding, so think about any long weekends or times that might be better for guests with jobs or kids to travel, so that it is easier for them to attend. Thinking about whether there’s a chance of big storms or things that may cancel or delay flights is another thing to consider. At the end of the day though, this should be a more minor consideration. The most important factor is that you have the wedding of your dreams!

Words can not express how thankful and happy we are that we chose Monica to capture our perfect day. She made us feel both comfortable and confident in the whole process. She has this ease that makes you feel you’ve known her for years. Her kindness, personality, and professionalism was beyond what we could have hoped for. Her communication and organization was so impressive as well (I am far from organized)! Our photos are AMAZING, they are perfect. We wish we could do it all over again, and again. Seriously, book her right now! Best choice we could have made, and she helped make our day so wonderfully memorable and way less stressful.
