Magda and Charles: Crescent Moon Sedona Elopement
Crescent Moon Sedona Elopement: Magda and Charles’s Private Summer Ceremony. There is nothing quite like the truly magical splendor that Sedona has to offer. At any point during the year the Sedona landscape, from the red rocks to Oak Creek, is a sight unlike any other. People travel from all over the country to vacation in one of Arizona’s most popular tourist destinations and I just happen to be lucky enough to live only a forty minute drive away up in Flagstaff.
Being so close to Sedona is one of my favorite things because that means no matter the session or occasion Sedona is always on the table as a location for your photos. It’s because of this that I feel pure joy when couples hire me to go trek out into the wilderness with them and capture their photos with them in the middle of all of the beauty that Sedona has to offer.
Sedona is beautiful for many reasons, too many to name in my opinion, but one of my favorite things about Sedona is the light. Whether we are on a cliff surrounded by red rocks or wading out into Oak Creek Sedona has some of the most beautiful light you can imagine. Towards the end of the day as you enter into the evening the setting sun bathes the rocks and surrounding area in this beautiful warm bath of light and illuminates the rocks to create a scene unlike anything else.
Weddings in Sedona
The landscape alone is a show stopper and when coupled with two people madly in love the results are purely magical. It creates this warm and inviting feeling that is the perfect setting to document your love as you embark into this new chapter of your lives as a married couple and it’s these magical moments that I live for as a photographer.
