Bell Rock Family Portraits: The Loper Family’s Spring Session. Kids grow faster than you can imagine– it seems like you blink and they’re taller than you! Capturing photos and remembering different stages of their lives is something that will only become more and more meaningful as time passes. The thing is, sometimes getting little kids to smile for the camera and hold still can be challenging.
I’ve learned some tricks as a photographer that can help engage kids so they have a great time getting their photo taken and the images turn out beautiful and joyful every time! Playing around by swinging your child between you and your spouse or jumping in the air on the count of three can be really fun for kids, while making for some adorable family photos. Some other ideas are to run around with each other, or to put your child on your back or shoulders.
By interacting with your kids like this, it encourages them to relax and have fun. By doing things to help your kids enjoy themselves, the photos will be full of laughter and joy!
