Horseshoe Bend Arizona Engagement: Kylee and Mike. I always have the most amazing time working at Horseshoe Bend – it’s one of the most incredible places in the world to photograph! If you’re in search of an incredible natural vista, and then Horseshoe Bend is definitely worth a visit. The name was inspired by its unusual shape, a horseshoe-shaped meander of the Colorado River located four miles southwest of Page, AZ, and within the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. Just a hop, skip, and a jump from Glen Canyon Dam and the popular Lake Powell, and the best view is from the steep cliff above Horseshoe Bend.

When it comes to engagement photography, I always preach the most important tip of all, which is to have fun! Planning a wedding can be stressful but your engagement session is that one moment where you can relax and just have a good time. Snuggle, smile, and laugh as much as you can throughout your session and allow your photographer to capture that pure joy. These are images that you will cherish for the rest of your life and having fun is so important!
