Lake Mary Flagstaff Photographer: The Kasem Family’s Annual Session. I love working with this amazing family each year to document their little ones grow. It happens so fast! Planning and executing family pictures can seem a little stressful and daunting at times. You want everything to go smoothly and them to look their best so I wanted to put together a little guide on how to get the prepared for the session and help ease your stress.
When planning their outfits you want to check the weather and make sure you have outfits picked out that go with the season so your kids aren’t too hot or too cold and then lay out their outfits the night before, including back-up outfits, to make the morning of easier to get them fed and out the door for the session. You also want to make sure they are also comfortable in the outfits you pick out for them so that they’re happy and not fiddling with them the whole session and crying. Even if you think that pink hair bow or having their shirt tucked in will make or break the outfit, if they’re unhappy you’ll be able to see it in the pictures. So, it is better to compromise and make sure they are happy.
