An Introduction: Saaty Photography

Saaty Photography: I’ve been playing with cameras since I was a little girl. I used to steal my mom’s camera and use entire rolls of film to photograph my Barbies and stuffed animals. My mom wasn’t thrilled then, but looking back on it now, it explains where my life-long obsession began. I’ve owned cameras since I was a child, mostly automatic film and instant models, but it wasn’t until high school that I really started exploring the endless photographic possibilities. Since then, my camera hasn’t left my side. My passion for the field expanded while studying at Northern Arizona University, where I obtained a Bachelor’s in Photography and Design, accompanied by a Master’s in Career and Technical Education.

When I began, I loved shooting landscapes. I have always been fascinated with the diversity of Arizona. I now focus on combining the grandeur of these landscapes with the intimate relationships of my clients. During my years of practice, I have had the opportunity to work with clients from all over the globe. My favorite thing about photography is that it encourages me to look beyond what others define as ‘beautiful’, and has taught me to see beauty in everything. It’s my life that is truly beautiful; my camera allows me to share it with the world.
