Horseshoe Bend Wedding and Elopement Photographers: Lindsey and Joe’s Intimate Sunset Ceremony. After years of living in different cities, these two decided to change the course of their relationship forever. Lindsey and Joe met on a blind date as undergraduates. They told me that the two dated throughout college and as they transitioned into their professional careers. Living six hours apart, Lindsey and Joe were used to adventurous trips together.
Full of joy and Motown tunes – I joined Lindsey and Joe in the excitement of their wedding day. It was truly an honor for me to photograph their intimate elopement day. I shared in the anticipation – from their cozy first-look in the hotel, down to the first sight of Horseshoe Bend, and right up to the sunset ceremony. The ceremony had tears, smiles, and laughter. It was an absolute dream come true for these two!
When couples decide to ditch the traditional wedding day and opt for an elopement, I am all in! I think it’s important to put your needs first. For many brides and grooms, this means experiencing the ceremony along. And for many of my couples, it means hiking out somewhere beautiful to be surrounded by nature. Whatever your game plan is, I’m always in! I love being able to blend the grandeur landscapes with the intimate relationships of my clients. This bend in the Colorado River is getting plenty of attention from those looking for the Grand Canyon. It is located approximately 140 miles from both the Grand Canyon. It is 5 miles from the beginning of Grand Canyon National Park. At Horseshoe Bend, as you stand on the edge of the canyon you can see the river and take incredible photos. This place has become highly memorable and many people seek it out for photography sessions.
