Flagstaff Arizona Engagement Photographer: Emma and Dan. Dan and Emma meet in the upper peninsula of Michigan while studying at Lake Superior State University. The two began dating shortly after Emma graduated and began their relationship long distance. With Emma’s career taking her across the country and Dan finishing up his degree the two remained long distant for 2.5 years. The two lived near each other in Traverse City Michigan for a summer before Emma moved to Arizona for better career experience.
Dan soon followed behind and they were finally reunited permanently in Flagstaff, Arizona were Emma works for a nonprofit and Dan works for a local high school. Soon after the move the two went on vacation to England to visit Emma’s family in England. It was on this trip in late September where the two got engaged in Edinburgh Scotland. They now live happily together in Flagstaff Arizona and soon hope to be living back in Michigan close to their families.
In their free time they love to cook, hike and watch their favorite shows together. Emma loves to practice yoga, read and take care of her plants. Dan enjoys watching hockey, playing games, and listening to podcasts. Recently the couple has set the date for their wedding, which will be September 19, 2021 back in Michigan…

Flagstaff has a fun, funky downtown and It’s packed with quaint, unique-to-Flagstaff and chain restaurants. It’s a dog-friendly town many restaurant patios, and others allowing pooches to sit outside the restaurant’s patio fence next to their person.
There’s something incredibly calming about aspen trees. Populating mountain climes through subterranean colonial root systems, the elegant white-barked beauties sway in tight-knit groves above alpine meadows. On the western slopes of Flagstaff’s San Francisco Peaks, canyon-born winds whip canopies of heart-shaped leaves into a symphony of whistles and whirs that only nature could score
