Shelby and Andrew: Engagement Photography Horseshoe Bend
Engagement Photography Horseshoe Bend: Shelby and Andrew’s Winter Session. From 4,200 feet above sea level, Horseshoe Bend is a scenic location in Page, Arizona that will surely take your breath away. Just a ¾ mile hike that people with all different hiking capabilities can make from the parking lot. Walking along the trails the views of the Colorado River begin to open up. What makes Horseshoe Bend so magical is how amazing of a place it is to elope. The incredible views, intimacy, and adventure are what make Horseshoe Bend different from the rest. I’d say eloping on Horseshoe Bend definitely takes a sense of adventure.
The intimacy Horseshoe Bend brings is an intimacy you will not find anywhere else. As big as everything may seem there, once you are alone with your significant other, the world freezes and it feels like you are the only two in it. Of course, the scenic views are like no other. The bend of the Colorado River, sparkling in blue and green glory as it meanders around the rock, the towering 1,000 ft red canyons that will glow a deep red or orange in the stunning sunrises and sunsets that will take your breath away. Once you’re standing on the ledge looking out, the canyons seem to never end, but when you’re with your significant other, you feel on top of the world.
