Natalia and Sean: Downtown Flagstaff AZ Engagement Photographer
Downtown Flagstaff AZ Engagement Photographer: Natalia and Sean’s Local Session. When I tell someone I live in Arizona they automatically assume I live down in the Phoenix metro area surrounded by the desert and saguaros. It’s always interesting to see their reactions when I tell them that I actually live in Flagstaff, Arizona up in the mountains where we, on average, get up to 81 inches of snow per year. Where most of Arizona seems to be stuck in a cycle of warm, hot, and blazing hot weather, Flagstaff experiences all four seasons and it’s this beautiful mountain town that I fell in love with over twenty years ago especially after coming to NAU for my college career. It’s this love of Flagstaff that makes it one of my favorite places to explore and experience with couples that hire me to capture their love story.
The landscape you find in Flagstaff, from beautiful fields and stately Ponderosa Pines, to the majestic mountains and serene lakes is truly something else. In a state surrounded by desert Flagstaff provides a more diverse and lush landscape as the perfect backdrop for your session.
Engagement photos are also a great way to capture that fleeting moment that you guys are engaged. Most moments in time can’t be recreated even after the memories have long become precious to us, so engagement photos are a great way to encapsulate those moments, transporting us back to that feeling of bliss of having just said “yes” to spending the rest of your life with the person you love most. It is a more intimate and relaxed environment for you two to pause from your hectic daily lives and just revel in being in love for a moment.
I can’t say enough good things about engagement photos. This is the first step in the next greatest chapter of your lives together as you embark on the journey into married life.
