Stephanie and Mike: Chapel of the Holy Dove Elopement
Chapel of the Holy Dove Elopement: Stephanie and Mike’s Intimate Big Day.
I always love when couples decided to ditch the traditional wedding for an elopement. I think that is a wonderful way to begin a life together. This private ceremony served as a beautiful symbol of Stephanie and Mike’s commitment. I was honored to be a part of their special day.
I love being able to blend the grandeur landscapes with the intimate relationships of my clients. Because of this, I believe I have the best job in the world and am continually thankful to the amazing clients who explore with me!
Anyone who’s ever been part of a wedding can tell you that they’re beautiful, emotional, and riddled with stress. There are exorbitant costs, time commitments, and schedules to account for, and that’s before the need to control a room full of 200 “friends and family members” who have been taking advantage of the open bar all night. Planning a wedding can feel like roping cattle, juggling chainsaws, and learning to breathe fire all at once. But they’re also joyful celebrations of the love between two people. Weddings are steeped in tradition, and they provide the opportunity for a couple to express their creativity in a romantic and loving way.
The stark contrast between the beauty of weddings and their stressful nature has led to a recent resurgence in elopements. With this trend on the horizon, many young couples find themselves wrestling with their options: do we elope, or do we host a wedding?
