Adding Props to Your Session: Show Your Personality!

A Guide: Adding Props to Your Photography Session. I am SO excited for our upcoming session! Feel free to bring dogs and props to incorporate. Props are totally optional! Some clients have fun ideas that speak to their personality. Usually, the role of the props in photography is to help add character and interest to a photo, or to add context to the scene. For some ideas on how to make your session unique, view some of my suggestions below. I suggest having 2-3 props max, which we can utilize during our time shooting.

Wow wow wow, I am SO GLAD that we chose Monica as our wedding / elopement photographer! You might as well stop your search for a photographer now because Monica is the absolute best! I cannot imagine a better photographer for our wedding day. We absolutely LOVE our photos!
When searching for a photographer, I wanted someone who could capture our love, our unique personalities, and the absolute majesty of the Sedona red rocks. Monica did that perfectly!
As soon as we spoke with Monica on the phone for a consultation, my husband and I felt at ease. She was friendly and easy to talk to. We trusted her right away. She was able to engage my husband in conversation – which was a big deal to me because he just didn’t feel he had much to say when we spoke with other vendors. She got him excited about the process.
Monica helped us with so many of the logistics. As an out-of-state bride, I had a bunch of questions about planning our Sedona elopement. Monica helped us choose THE PERFECT location and gave us helpful information to help us prepare. She guided us before our wedding day and on our wedding day (while making sure that our wedding wishes were fully taken into account).
I got the impression that Monica is extremely organized and was amazed at how quickly she responded to my emails (and always in a thoughtful, friendly way). She gave us a few different PDF guides for different aspects of our wedding planning, which were really helpful.
On the day of our wedding, Monica put us at ease. She guided us through different poses and shots. She kept track of what shots we wanted and she offered friendly direction. We felt totally comfortable in front of the camera with her. She also worked extremely well with our videographer. Monica brought such a cheerful, confident, upbeat, and peaceful presence to our wedding — which really helped me feel supported and relaxed as a bride.
I was amazed at how quickly we received our wedding photos. We absolutely adore our photos! We will cherish them for years to come!
Monica has such an eye for photography. She captured the special moments on our wedding day. Our personalities, our love, and the beauty of Sedona shine through in the photos. Our wedding photos are exactly what we had hoped they would be!
